Coffee House a Big Hit in January

Over fifty people gathered on a cold winter evening on Friday, January 7th in ICC's gathering area for coffee, fellowship and music.  Many performances were enjoyed that night, including performances by members of ICC's very own guitar group ministry- Jeff Minor, Robert Wood, and Joe Slike.  Original pro- life songs were performed from the album, "No More Babies Die," dedicated to the late Chuck Mallory, which was very fitting as the anniversary of Roe V. Wade approaches on January 22.  The album was up for purchase that evening, and can still be purchased by contacting Dawn Slike or the guitar ministry, all proceeds benefiting Lake County Right to Life.  Other performers included John Koch, Mike and Kristina Romano, and members of the Youth Renewal Team.  Joe, Jim and Joe Slike ended the evening's performances with a few selections that rocked the house!  Kathy Minor and Kristina Romano did an amazing job in transforming the gathering area into an intimate coffee shop atmosphere.  The first coffee house/open mic night at ICC could not have happened without those who baked refreshments, those who helped set up and clean up, all those who performed and of course, all those who attended! Another coffee house evening will enjoyed again soon! Watch for announcements in the ICC bulletin and web site!
