Ash Wednesday - Feb. 18th, 2026
Ash Wednesday begins our sacred journey into Lent, a season of repentance, renewal, and return to the Lord. On this holy day, we gather as a faith community to humble our hearts, receive the ashes, and remember our call to conversion: “Repent and believe in the Gospel.”
All are invited to join us at ICC throughout the day in prayer and worship. We begin with the Rosary at 8:00am, followed by Mass at 8:30am. From 9:00am to 5:30pm, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Eucharistic Adoration, offering a quiet and grace-filled opportunity to spend time with the Lord. We conclude the day with Mass at 6:45pm.
May this Ash Wednesday open our hearts to God’s mercy and set our feet firmly on the path of Lent. Come, pray, and walk with Christ.
Stations of the Cross
As we journey through the holy season of Lent, the Church invites us to walk more closely with Jesus on the road to Calvary. The Stations of the Cross offer a sacred opportunity to pause, pray, and reflect on Christ’s immense love revealed through His suffering and sacrifice for our salvation.
All are invited to join the ICC community for Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent at 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. In a special observance, May this time of prayer deepen our faith, strengthen our hearts, and draw us closer to the mercy and hope found in the Cross of Christ.
Reconciliation
Lent is a sacred season of mercy a time when the Lord gently calls us back to Himself, offering healing, forgiveness, and a renewed heart. Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we encounter the boundless love of Christ, who meets us exactly where we are and restores us through His grace.
Join us at Immaculate Conception Church (ICC) during Lent to experience the peace that only God’s mercy can give. In confession, our burdens are lifted, our sins are forgiven, and our souls are made new as we prepare our hearts for the joy of the Resurrection.
“Return to me with all your heart” (Joel 2:12).
No matter how long it has been, you are welcome. Come, receive mercy, and begin again.
Eucharistic Adoration
Lent invites us into the quiet places of the heart, where we slow down, listen, and allow Christ to renew us. One of the most beautiful ways to enter this sacred season is by spending time with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration resting in His presence, offering Him our burdens, and allowing His love to transform us.
Throughout Lent, every Wednesday beginning February 25, Adoration will be extended from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., giving you more time to step away from the noise of daily life and simply be with the Lord. Whether you come for a few minutes or an hour, Christ waits for you in the Eucharist with open arms.
In a special way, Adoration will also be available on Holy Thursday night, April 2, beginning at 8:00pm to 10:00pm in the chapel., as we keep watch with Jesus and enter more deeply into the mystery of His Passion.
This Lent, make room for silence, prayer, and grace. Come and spend time with the Lord - He is truly present, and He is waiting for you.
Pray the Rosary
During Lent, the Church invites us to slow our pace, quiet our hearts, and walk more closely with Christ. One beautiful way to prepare our souls for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is through praying the Rosary, a prayer that draws us into the life, Passion, and Resurrection of Jesus through the loving intercession of His Blessed Mother.
Throughout Lent, the Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes before every Mass. This time of prayer offers a peaceful and prayerful transition from the concerns of daily life into the sacred mystery we are about to celebrate at the altar.
As we meditate on the mysteries of Christ with Mary, we ask for deeper conversion, stronger faith, and hearts more open to God’s grace. Whether you pray the Rosary daily or are just beginning, all are welcome to join together as a parish family.
This Lent, come early, take a seat, and place your intentions in the hands of Our Lady. Let the Rosary prepare your heart to fully encounter Jesus in the Eucharist.
Anointing of Sick - Saturday March 14th during 4:00pm Mass
In moments of illness, weakness, and uncertainty, Christ draws especially near to us with His healing love and mercy. The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a powerful sign of God’s compassion, offering spiritual strength, peace, and, according to His will, healing of body and soul.
On Saturday, March 14, during the 4:00 p.m. Mass, we will celebrate the Anointing of the Sick. This sacrament is available to those who are seriously ill, facing surgery, burdened by chronic illness, or weakened by age. Through prayer and the anointing with holy oil, the Church entrusts the sick to Christ, the Divine Physician.
All who are eligible are encouraged to come with faith and trust, allowing the grace of this sacrament to bring comfort, hope, and renewed strength. As a parish family, we gather to pray for one another, confident that the Lord is with us in every trial and never abandons those who call upon Him.
HOLY WEEK
Holy Week is the most sacred and powerful week of the Church year. During these holy days, we walk closely with Jesus from His triumphant entry into Jerusalem, through His Passion and death, and into the joy of His Resurrection. We invite you to enter fully into these mysteries through prayer, reflection, and participation in the liturgies of the Church.
Palm Sunday opens Holy Week as we welcome Christ the King, who enters Jerusalem humbly, riding on a donkey. With palms in hand, we proclaim Him as Lord, while also hearing the Passion that reminds us how quickly praise can turn to rejection. Palm Sunday calls us to follow Jesus not only in moments of joy, but also in sacrifice and faithfulness.
Holy Thursday leads us into the Upper Room, where Jesus gives us the priceless gifts of the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood. At the Last Supper, Christ humbly washes the feet of His disciples, teaching us that true love is found in service. As we remember His agony in the garden, we are invited to remain with Him in prayer and watchfulness.
Good Friday is a solemn day as we stand at the foot of the Cross. On this day, the Church remembers the suffering and death of Jesus, who freely gave His life for the salvation of the world. In silence, prayer, and reverence, we venerate the Cross the ultimate sign of God’s mercy and love for each of us.
Holy Saturday is a day of quiet waiting and hope. The Church rests at the tomb with Mary, trusting in God’s promises even in the darkness. As night falls, the Easter Vigil begins, and light breaks forth as we proclaim that Christ has conquered sin and death.
Resurrection Sunday is the heart of our faith. The tomb is empty. Christ is risen! This is the day the Lord has made a celebration of new life, redemption, and everlasting hope. Through the Resurrection, we are reminded that no darkness is stronger than God’s love, and no grave can hold the power of Christ.
We invite you and your family to join us throughout Holy Week as we journey together from the Cross to the empty tomb, and rejoice in the promise of eternal life found in Jesus Christ.
